description The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of talent management on organizational performance in Ecobank of Kenya Ltd. The objectives of this study were: analyzing the impact of talent management on organizational performance at Ecobank Kenya, determine the factors and challenges of talent management in the work place and to determine the extent to which talent management contributes to the organizational performance in Ecobank Kenya. The study used case study and descriptive research design. The population for this study included all the employees at Ecobank Kenya Headquarters which has 66 employees. The study collected primary data using a questionnaire and interview guide. The data collected through questionnaires and interviews were processed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The data was presented in the form of charts, figures and tables. From the findings, the study established that the bank had a department designated for talent management. The study established that talent management impacted positively on the performance of the Bank. Through knowledge management, the bank was able to recruit, train and develop its human resources to deliver on the Bank’s promise to its customers. The study further recommended that the bank initiates employee satisfaction survey to establish exact factors affecting their level of satisfaction. The study also recommended that the Bank undertakes career advancement within the Bank seriously as indicated in the interviews. It was established that through talent management, the Bank was able to save the costs associated with recruitment, training and development which improved the Bank performance.
