विश्व बैंक
अन्तरराष्ट्रीय पुनर्निर्माण और विकास बैंक को ही विश्व बैंक कहा जाता है।
* इसका मुख्यालय अमेरिका की राजधानी वाशिंगटन DC (पूर्व में District of Colombia) में है।
* विश्व बैंक संयुक्त राष्ट्र से जुड़ी एक अहम संस्था है और यह कई संस्थाओं का समूह है। इसीलिये इसे विश्व बैंक समूह (World Bank Group) भी कहा जाता है।
* वर्तमान में विश्व बैंक में 189 देश सदस्य हैं।। विश्व बैंक का सदस्य बनने के लिये किसी भी देश को पहले अन्तरराष्ट्रीय वित्त निगम का सदस्य बनना ज़रूरी होता है।
