Parmenides
Parmenides edo Parmenides Eleakoa (; Elea, K.a. 515?- K.a. 450) Antzinako Greziako filosofo presokratikoa izan zen. Eskola eleatikoko sortzaile eta filosofo garrantzitsuena kontsideratu ohi da. Parmenidesek Eleako gobernuan parte hartu omen zuen. Filosofia ikasten hasi zen Aminia filosofo pitagorikoarekin. Parmenidesen eragina nabarmentzekoa da mendebaldeko pentsamendu metafisikoaren historian, lehendabizikoz ''Izatea''ri buruzko hausnarketa garatu baitzuen.
