OCLC, Inc. (vom Akronym für Online Computer Library Center) ist eine weltweit tätige Non-Profit-Organisation nach US-amerikanischem Recht und ein Dienstleister für Bibliotheken aller Art, die 1967 auf Initiative von Universitätsprofessoren in Dublin, Ohio, USA gegründet wurde. Ziel war es, ein auf Computer gestütztes Verbundsystem der Universitätsbibliotheken von Ohio aufzubauen, um durch kooperative Nutzung von Bibliotheksdaten die Arbeit effektiver zu gestalten, etwa durch die Übernahme von Titeldaten aus dem WorldCat.
