Catherine A. Lutz (; born 1952) is an American anthropologist who is the Thomas J. Watson Jr. Family Professor of Anthropology and International Studies at Brown University. She is also a research professor at the Watson Institute where she serves as a director of the Costs of War Project, which attempts to calculate the financial costs of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
