Ira Berlin

Ira Berlin (May 27, 1941 – June 5, 2018) was an American historian, professor of history at the University of Maryland, and former president of Organization of American Historians.

Berlin wrote the books ''Many Thousands Gone: The First Two Centuries of Slavery in North America'' (1998) and ''[http://www.hup.harvard.edu/catalog.php?isbn=9780674016248 Generations of Captivity: A History of African-American Slaves]'' (2003). Provided by Wikipedia
